Study among Landslide Outbreak and Debris Flow Formation Mechanism

碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 水利工程所 === 93 === This research investigates the problem about landslide near a stream by equilibrium mechanics theory and the soil water content. Then it discusses the mechanism of the soil block which transforms into debris flow when it slides into the stream. According to the resul...

Then it discusses the mechanism of the soil block which transforms into debris flow when it slides into the stream. According to the result, when the slope is larger than , infiltration induced by rainfall then will cause the slope to breakdown. The relation between precipitation and slope failure can be explain as below. This equation displays the probable failure of slope in two conditions, one is the factor about the slope and the other is the effective rainfall. But it is difficult to estimate the volume of mountain slop failure. So this study uses the surface-flow scouring debris flow to estimate the minimum limit of the water depth in stream and the probable movement thickness in stream bed. It combines the rainfall data, Rational Equation and Manning’s Formula to estimate the critical conditions. According to this information, it can explain the concept after landslide outbreaks and slides into the stream, this soil material will forms the debris flow with stream flow. Therefore it can supply an idea about the alert reference to the occurrence of debris flow because of its relationship between the mountain slope failure and the rainfall. none 連惠邦 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 65 zh-TW
