碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 自動控制工程所 === 93 === Abstract The purpose of this study lies in setting up an active background noise cancellation system which can be applied to the communication apparatus. Generally speaking, phenomena of noise and echo are factors to influence communication quality. This study is mainly to cancel background noise of the calling party. So the listener will not hear background noise of the calling party and can hear the intact voice signal of the calling party. During the process of studying, we have used NLMS algorithm to cancel background noise of the calling party, and have used AVD to improve the voice signal''s distorted phenomenon that is made by using NLMS. Finally, with the digital signal processing technology we have realized active background noise cancellation system on the hardware of the fixed DSP development board, such as C5416DSK, etc.. We have set up active background noise cancellation system in this study, which including the software and hardware. Our laboratory can base on this system to do the deeper study continuously in the study direction of the noise cancellation in the future.
