In modern, the technology of visualizing three-dimensional spatial data is become more developed. But there is only the discussion of visualization, and it is lack of issues about the management and analysis of spatial data. For this reason, we discuss the architecture of the interactive and three-dimensional spatial management system for the purpose of improving the management of the spatial structure and producing the new value of the spatial knowledge. In this study, we employ a network-based virtual reality technology called VRML/X3D (Virtual Reality Modeling Language/Extensible 3D) to implement the system. We construct a 3D spatial management system with the capability of human-interaction by the combination of VRML/X3D and JAVA programming language. In the system, the user can move or modify any objects in the 3D scene directly. The system will save the modification into the Relational Database Management (RDBMS) automatically. It will be accessed and rebuilding the 3D scene in the next time. In this research, the office of GIS research center in Feng Chia University will be built up by this system. The user can control and manage the objects in the office space. The operation is under an interactive and visualized interface and the scene likes a virtual classroom or office. Therefore, the administrator of the department can handle all the information of the office or classroom space rapidly and make a more appropriate decision about the spatial structure. none 雷祖強 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 83 zh-TW
