| Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 建築與都市計畫所 === 93 === The purpose of this research is to understand the community industries reconstruction model through community development in the disaster areas post 921- earthquake. This research has used face-to-face interview to collect data. Eighteen community organizations’ chairmen were selected as interviewee. The content of interview includes the motivation of developing community industry, inter- relation among community industries, developing direction in the future, and the facing difficulties during the process of the development of industry.
This research finds that the development of community Industries can be summed up in three major categories: “Merging Type”, “Partner Collaboration Type” and “Sole-Proprietor Type”. The Research also finds that, among these types, “Merging Type” has the most development potential. The “Partner Type” should be encouraged to convert into the “Merging Type”, and the “Sole-Proprietor” type should be provided with external help from expert group professional in developing and helping growth of community, in order to convert into the most prosperity potential “Merging type”. When the community has the capability of deciding, managing, and planning for themselves, the community has the ability of autonomy. When the community has autonomy ability, it can then reach the goals of “being capable to mould the new society showing love and care for and helping each other”, “setting up new consciousness that the community can be established on”, and “constructing a healthy, everlasting development of new environment”, which are of main goal and intention for reconstruction of community industry.
