Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 機械工程學所 === 93 === In this thesis, a method for designing damping variable mechanism is proposed. At first, we adopt both the transient error and the steady-state error of the displacement variations of the piston of a 2nd order shock absorber as the fitness function, and design a genetic algorithms to determine the optimal damping values for the piston at different positions. Then, basing on the boundary layer theory of viscous fluid flow, we determine the cross section areas of the gape of the damping variable mechanism at different positions. For understanding the characteristics of the system further, we conduct computer simulations for observations and for comparing the differences in characteristics between the damping variable mechanism and a convention in characteristics shock absorber.
