According to the Internal Classic of Yallow Emperor, there are 12 primary tracks that run through the body, named after the organ from which they originate. Over the last fifty years, many scientists tried hard to found a common and affirmative view about the meridian systems. The EAV(Electro-Acupuncture according to Voll)developed since 1953 is very special among the researches. Using the EAV Voll successfully discovered the relationship of the individual acupuncture point to parts of organs in the large hollow organs and to tissue functions in the parenchymal organs. Are there any difference between the meridians discovered by EAV and the meridians stated in TCM? This question is exactly what this paper wants to answer. This research is focused to explore the positions of the acupuncture points of TCM and the measurement points used by Voll. After careful study of the books written by Voll, we found that the most significant differences are the anatomical triangle, i.e. Scarpa’s triangle(trigonum femorale mediale)、anterior cervical triangle(trigonum caroticum)and lateral cervical triangle(trigonum colli laterale). By using the knowledge of EAV, we hope that we can exactly re-locate the topographic positions of the individual acupuncture points. 陳國鎮 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 143 zh-TW |

The EAV(Electro-Acupuncture according to Voll)developed since 1953 is very special among the researches.
