Summary: | 碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士班 === 97 === The purpose of this study was to explore the quality of family child care for the developmental delay child. The main purposes were:
1.To understand the quality of family child care for the developmental delay child.
2. To understand the professional background and experiences of family child care providers for the developmental delay child.
3. To analysis the participation and child interaction of family child care providers for the developmental delay child.
4. To discuss the social support and difficulty of family child care providers for the developmental delay child.
Family Day Care Rating Scale(FDCR)were used. Using observation and interview, the results were as follow:
1. Although the quality of adult's works environment were not good, the quality of three family child care for the developmental delay child all could reach "minimal" above to "good".
2.The professional background of three family child care providers for the developmental delay child were all alike, they all attended the child care organization and professional training. The professional training of the child care providers predicted the quality of family child care better than their experiences.
3. Although the motivation, the reason for child care were different, they all involved in the work and all were good in child care interaction.
4. The social supports of three family child care providers for the developmental delay child were to join the professional organization, to join family child care community support system and to look for professional help. The difficulties were great pressure and low income.
