碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 體育學系碩士班 === 93 === The Research on the Motivation and Satisfaction of Leisure Sports Participated by Students from Community Universities in Taipei City Graduate Institute of Physical Education, Fu Jen Catholic University Name: Shing-Show Yu Advisor: Dr. Hung-Yan Chen Abstract In addition to make up for the loss of advanced studies, the establishment of community colleges provide the public with an access to life-long study. This research aims at exploring the interaction between the motivation and participants’ satisfaction. The following are the conclusions: First, demographic profile of respondents: those aged between 35 to 55 put more emphasis on leisure sports, most of them come from business and service fields. Besides, one’s income determines one’s intended satisfaction. Second, the motivations of participants: It is evident among members aged more than 56 to possess stronger motivations. Also, to seek a better mental health, married members are highly motivated. Third, the satisfaction with leisure sports: those aged more than 56 enjoy the most satisfaction as opposed to those who only graduated from elementary schools or graduate schools, scoring the lowest in the survey. At last, the relativity between the satisfaction and motivation: Regarding motivations, the members cite “ to cultivate interests” to be related to “psychological needs” and “ healthy shape”. As to satisfaction, the “ learning results” is associated with “ physical conditions” and “ the relationship between members”.
