Description
Summary:碩士 === 弘光科技大學 === 環境工程研究所 === 93 === The purpose of this study is to characterize metallic elements associated with atmospheric particulate matter of Dry Deposition plate, TE-PUF High Volume Air Sample and Universal Air Sampler to collect dry deposition flux, total suspended particulate, fine (PM2.5) and coarse (PM2.5-10) particulates simultaneously at traffic junction in front of Hungkuang University, Wu Chi Elementary School (WT site) and Taichung harbor sampling sites during August 2003 to January 2005. Chemical analyses of metallic elements were accomplished with a flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer coupled with hollow cathode lamps. Statistical methods such as correlation coefficients, principal component analyses and enrichment factor analysis were performed to compare chemical components and to identify the possible emission sources at the sampling site. Variations of metallic element concentrations contained in fine and coarse particulates during daytime and nighttime have also discussed in this study.
