Summary:碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 電機工程學系 === 93 === In this thesis, two types of driving IC for TFT-LCD applications are proposed. The first type is Source Driver for the application of WQUXGA TFT-LCD and the second one is Gate Driver for the application of WQUXGA TFT-LCD. We also design a novel 6 bit DAC in fast offset canceling. For the first source driver, two high-speed complementary differential buffer are proposed and using Sample and Hold to save the chip area. The output buffer amplifier achieves offset canceling by employing a simple switch, it also reduce the effect of coupling capacitance. In the second gate driver, low power and large-driving current are proposed by employing two extra MOS. The delay circuits avoid the short current between power and ground. The last one is a 6 bit DAC which with the fast offset voltage cancellation. During the offset voltage cancellation mode, we use a buffer amplifier as a comparator. We just need on calibration at the power on cycle, after preset the circuit, we do not need calibrate the circuit any more.
