The samples chosen in this study for comparison are Wen Hua Elementary School in Taipei (Taiwan), and Bo Luo elementary school in Huizhou (Mainland China). The research methods used in this study include: document analysis, interview survey, field research, and comparative study. And the result findings are as follows: A: The basic characteristics of these two English teaching experiments are: being based on the request of the improvements on English teaching, the stress on the input quaintly of language, being resulted from the theory of Bilingual Education, the using of their self-made textbooks, the integration of the curriculum design, the using of questions and answers, group discussions, and game competitions methods in class, the using of oral tests for evaluations, the progress of student’s English abilities, and the economy and preparation problems. B: The opposite features of the English teaching experiments are: the differences of student amounts and teacher’s background, the different thoughts about whole language, the development process, the implied classes in the experiment, the different characters of the designers, the differences of English classes amounts, and the differences of teaching process.
