The subjects were 664 female elementary school teaches in Taipei County, selected by purposive sampling. The research methods included self-developed scale chart for the exercise behaviors of female elementary school teaches in Taipei County. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, Chi square test, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe post-hoc comparison. The results were as follows: 1. The Distribution of the stages for exercise behavior, most subjects 1. were in the preparation stage, followed by contemplation stage, maintenance stage, precontemplation stage; the fewest were in the action stage. 2. The subjects in the five stages vary in background factors, including the age of the youngest child, perceived health status, job, and experience in athletic groups. 3. In terms of the perceived benefits of exercise, the subjects vary in background factors, including the age of the youngest child, perceived health status, and experience in athletic groups. 4. In terms of the perceived obstacles of exercise and the self-efficacy for exercise, the subjects vary in background factors, including the age of the youngest child, perceived health status, and experience in athletic groups. 5. The subjects in the five stages vary in perceived benefits of exercise, perceived obstacles of exercise, self-efficacy for exercise, and decision balance for exercise. Lastly, this paper provided interpretation to the results, discussed the results, and proposed suggestions to future researches. none Chang Szn-Min 許志文 張思敏 2005 學位論文 ; thesis 118 zh-TW
