Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 管理學院碩士在職專班運輸物流組 === 93 === The environment of the semiconductor industry changes rapidly. The technologies used also revolutionizes with each passing day. Foundry is an industry with highly dense capital and technology. Every single industry is attempting to create a differentiation with others by investing a great sum of capital and renewed technologies, so they can be more competitive and more secured in their leading status. According to the analysis and study, semiconductor equipment component supplier’s main competition lies in physical distribution system, they are unable to segregate, especially in the contest of customer service and global supplying chain, plus, the cost of logistics in labor or material resources are both high. Therefore, to raise the competitive level and lower down the cost, outsourcing becomes an important solution. This research conducts numerous method of survey to gather the data that is needed. Through the survey that is performed at the employees of the semiconductor equipment industry, we tend to discuss what does the employees of the semiconductor equipment industry think that the main reason why there is such decision of outsourcing. Age, education level, or the importance of logistics influences the department all have a significant varies according to the aspect. In hence from the result of this study, people can have an understanding of the employees of semiconductor equipment industry’s perspectives in logistics.
