Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 特殊教育學系所 === 93 === A Study of Curricular Designing Competence of Teachers of Mental Retarded Sort in Compulsory Education By Che-yi Lin ABSTRACT This survey investigates the relationship between "the background variables of teachers of mental retarded sort" and "the competence of curricular designing" in compulsory education. According to the questionnaires of 372 special education teachers, the conclusions are as follows: a) The survey showed that the average of teacher's curricular designing competence was 3.99, and the average of five variables was from 3.95 to 4.06. The level of the conclusion is "high." b) In the variables of school environment: Except for the ciry of "the establishment of curriculum" is significiant difference, other variables are no significiant difference. Furthermore, there are no remarkable diversity in teacher's curricular designing competence in different school scale and teaching level. c) In the variables of the population of teachers: the competence of curricular designing in teachers' age, serving seniority and serving position is significiant difference, while the aspect of teachers' gender,educational background and special educational background are no significiant difference.
