Question answering mechanism allows users issuing their questions by natural language, and the system will return suitable answers from database. Additionally, we employ online Internet as knowledge base, and off-the-shelf search engine – Google conducts information retrieval. We experiment on time-related questions via our mechanism and Google. Subsequently, the result shows that our mechanism is better than Google in precision and TRDR.
