Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 藝術教育研究所 === 93 === Abstract Da-yuan Elementary School in Taichung County is famous for developing art and humanity. Especially, the teachers and students at this school not only spread the learning of Koji Pottery, but also set up a Children Art Gallery. This thesis is concerned about the training process of the children volunteers at the Children Art Gallery. The main points of this action research are as followings: 1. How can I train those children to be volunteers at Da-yuan Art Gallery? 2. How have my teaching changed as a result of my teaching during this research? In this research, I played two roles: teacher and researcher. I, who was an outsider, suggested a series of training curriculum for children volunteers at the Art Gallery, and maintaining observation over 6 months. I collected a board range of works from the students. These works included student interviews, tape recordings, video recordings, and teacher’s notes. Besides, I also interviewed their teachers. I hoped to get more objective data from these methods. It might be an important basis for adjusting curriculum. I think the research is not easy, because the training curriculum was revised four times. Finally, “demonstrating by the children” is the best way for children volunteers to learn. After reflecting on this action research, I have realized that there may be progress for the teachers and students if teachers could use varied teaching methods. In addition, the imperfect organization of Da-yuan Art Gallery might be a hidden obstruction for its development. Moreover, the process of training “children docents” at many other schools brings about another way of thinking for me. I suppose it also should be a topic for discussion.
