The researcher adopts the approaches of literature review and questionnaire investigation. The major instruments, “The Description Questionnaire of the Relationship Among Principals’ Transformational Leadership, Transactional Leadership and Teacher Efficacy in Elementary School form four Counties in Central Taiwan.” is designed to collect data. A sample of 100 elementary schools and 940 teachers are generated, and the returned data are analyzed through T-test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson Correlations and Multiple Stepwise regression analyses. The results are summarized as follows: (1) The performance in the transformational leadership, transactional leadership and teacher efficacy among the elementary school principals and teachers is above the average. (2) Significant differences exist among the age, agent, school size and classroom size, when the elementary school principals’ transformational leadership is analyzed. (3) Significant differences exist among the age, academics degree, school size, school locus and classroom size, when the elementary school principals’ transactional leadership is analyzed. (4) Significant differences exist among the sex, age, school size, school locus and classroom size, when the teacher efficacy is analyzed. (5)There is a significant relationship between the elementary school principals’ transformational leadership and teacher efficacy. (6)There is a significant relationship between the elementary school principals’ transactional leadership and teacher efficacy. (7)The idealized influence and intellectual stimulation of the transformational leadership are the most powerful predictors of teacher efficacy. (8)The active management by exception of the transactional leadership are the most powerful predictors of teacher efficacy. Finally, based on the results of this study, some suggestions are offered to the educational administrative authorities, school administrant, elementary school teachers, and future researchers.
