Therefore, players are under a lot of pressure from fans and sponsors. Thus, it is important to develop an evaluation mode that exams players’ performance with scientific methods. This study applies Multi-criteria Decision Making (MCDM) to create a hierarchic model in order to understand the relevance of attributes. Utilizing Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), we classify the factors of performance evaluation and determine the weights. Analyzing the data of the 15th program of The Chinese Professional Baseball League with Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), we have come to the following conclusions: First, the most important criteria of pitcher is shown as cooperation, following ability of controlling balls, then psychological strength, and ability to pitch. The significance of attributes is ranged as following: wins, earned run average, renitent, winning percent, bases on balls, leadership, strikeout per nine innings, wild pitch per nine innings, batting average, home run per nine innings. Secondly, the most important criteria of fields is shown as ability to hit, following cooperation, psychological strength, ability of defense and ability of ball choice. The significance of attributes is fielding percentage, ability of military, renitent, energy, walks, batting average, on base percentage, strikeout, fielding range, win hit, home runs, slugging percentage, runs, hit on base and stolen bases. There are different point of different professionals for the criteria and attributes. Thirdly, the most important criteria of catcher is shown as ability of defense, cooperation, ability to hit, psychological strength and ability of ball choice. The significance of attributes is ability of collocation, fielding percentage, caught stealing percentage, ability of military, walks, renitent, energy, batting average, on base percentage, strikeout, home runs, slugging percentage, win hit, hit on base, runs and stolen bases. There are different point of different professionals for the criteria and attributes.
