Using 3,4,5-trimethoxy-benzaldehyde as starting material, via Suzuki coupling and intramolecular Aza-Wittig reaction obtains the target molecule (A) easily. The compound (A) react with carbonyl compound to form the enamine intermediate which can catalyze several asymmetric reactions, such as asymmetric enamine alkylation, aldol reaction, Michael addition and etc.
