Description
Summary:碩士 === 國防管理學院 === 資源管理研究所 === 93 === The function of human resource management is more and more important to organizations for getting competitive advantage. The objective of this study is to investigate how personality traits, organization image and perceived occupational characteristics influence the intention of high school students to select the military as their career. The results reveal that “military image” is composed of 3 factors: inner image, social image and status image which directly influence the intention of career selection as the occupational characteristics does. On the other hand, there is only one personality trait named extroversion that influences the intention of career choice. Furthermore, the result that organization image and the perception of occupational characteristics are highly correlated coincides with the signaling theory.
