Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 93 === Abstract The main purposes of this study were to discuss residents’ perception of tourism impacts in Hsin-pu, and to compare differences of perception toward socio-economic characteristic and spatial characteristic. Furthermore, this study also discussed the relationship between residential characteristics and perception of tourism impact. The study used questionnaire survey method to collect the required data. The study utilized descriptive statistics, factor analysis, one-way analysis of variance, t-test, canonical correlation analysis to analyze the study results and examine the research hypotheses. Based on the findings, three major conclusions could be drawn as follows: 1. There was no significant difference of tourism impact perception among residents with different socio-economic characteristic and spatial characteristic. 2. The results of factor analysis showed the perception of tourism impact could be classified into five factors: developing cultural recreation, ruin environment, breaking interpersonal relationships, increasing sale of local product, increasing family expenditure. Another results of factor analysis showed the residential characteristics could be classified into six factors: diligence, selfhood, ngang-giang, togetherness, fortitude, conservative. 3. Through canonical correlation analysis, the study found out that “togetherness” and “conservative” were the major factor of residential characteristics influencing the main factor of perception “developing cultural recreation”, “breaking interpersonal relationships”, “increasing sale of local product.”
