Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 行銷與流通管理所 === 93 === Following the trend of globalization, how firms make use of the ownership advantage with international channels is one of key factors to keep competent. The aim of this research lies in developing a base of international channel strategy concept which is suitable for company’s operation. This research is to investigate the relationship among the “the degree of internationalization of a firm”, “channel strategy” and “performance”. It can be divided into two parts – one is to examine the relation between those two variables above and the later one is to test the influence of the fitness between those two variables on performance. The results show: (1) The relation between “the internationalization degree of a firm” and “channel strategy” (strategic orientation and channel structure) is positive. (2) The positive relation between “The internationalization degree of a firm” and “performance” is partly supported. (3) The positive relation between “channel strategy” and “performance” is supported. (4) The higher the fitness between “The internationalization degree of a firm ”and “channel strategy”, the stronger influence is supported only on the higher degree of internationalization one.
