The human resource in the sector of medical service played a very important role in the integral construction of the nation and full-scale modernization. This research attempted to use Gray System Model GM (1,1) to figure out the future demand of human resource in the medical service from 2004 to 2007. According to the statistics analyzed result: (1)The growth rate of medical doctors gradually declines.(2) The growth rate of pharmacists starts to decline instead of growing.(3)The growth rate of the public health workers is also gradually slowing down.(4)The growth rate of nursing staff fluctuates slightly, but the growing range still remains large.(5)The growth rate of dieticians is also gradually slowing down, but the growing range still remains large.(6)The growth rate of physical therapists fluctuates, and its growing range is the largest. Generally speaking, during 2004 and 2007, the growth rate in the medical service sector rises steadily.
