The research takes Experimental Research. The students in experimental group take the teaching approach integrated with the scientists’ and doing experiments, while the students in control group take the traditional teaching approach. All the sample students have the pre-tests about “atmospheric pressure” and “buoyant force”. The grades of the first mid-term exam and pre tests used to be the data of the beginning learning behavior. After teaching with different approach on experimental group and control group, we give the after-tests. Based on grades of the pre-tests and the after-tests, with the methods of t-test and Ancona, we find the differences in the learning achievements between experimental group and control group. Besides, we give the feedback sheets for the students in experimental group about “the traditional lecture teaching” and “scientists’ stories and doing experiments”. With interview with some students of them, video-taking in class and notes, we understand more about their achievements and attitudes. 一、About learning achievements: (一)For all sample students,the learning achievements of the experimental group are greatly better than the control group. (二)For high grades scoring students,the learning achievements of the experimental group are greatly better than the control group. (三)For middle grades scoring students,the learning achievements of the experimental group are not greatly better than the control group. (四)For low grades scoring students,the learning achievements of the experimental group are greatly better than the control group. 二、About learning attitudes, (一)Students in experimental group concentrate more on the teachers’ lectures when they are taught with “ the teaching approach integrated with scientist’s stories and doing experiments.” (二)Students in experimental group become more interested in textbooks, when they are taught with “ the teaching approach integrated with scientist’s stories and doing experiments.” (三)Students in experimental group think it would be more helpful to learn when they are taught with “ the teaching approach integrated with scientist’s stories and doing experiments.” (四)Students in experimental group like to take science class when they are taught with “ the teaching approach integrated with scientist’s stories and doing experiments.” (五)Students in experimental group wish that contents related to scientist’ stories and doing experiments could be included within the textbook. According to the research, we know that it’s helpful to take “ the teaching approach integrated with the scientists’ stories and doing experiments.” Therefore, we encourage that teachers’ teaching, the textbooks,education policy,and the teachers’ cultivating curriculum should include the “scientists’ stories and doing experiments.” Key words: scientists’ stories, doing experiments, science, junior high school, learning achievements, learning attitude 周建和 蘇明俊 學位論文 ; thesis 145 zh-TW
