The study has been achieved based on the method of survey research. 835 pieces of questionnaires were mailed to teachers of the elementary schools at Kaohsiung City, Kaohsiung County and Pingtung County in Taiwan. The corresponding rates were 86.35% and the usable rates were 84.79%. The collected data were analyzed through statistics methods of frequency distribution, t test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple regressions. The conclusions of this study have been made as follows: 1. Elementary school teachers are awarded of ‘the right in organized group’ parents used frequently. 2. The male teachers, who are aged above 51, graduated from graduated schools, experienced more than 26 years in education, and administrative teachers have a higher awareness of the rights of parents involvement. 3. The teachers served the size of school fewer than 12 classes in Kaohsiung city and Town have a higher awareness of the rights of parents involvement. 4. Elementary school teachers perceived parents are subjective, autonomous and they interact with other members in school decoratively. 5. The male teachers, who are aged above 51, experienced more than 26 years in education, and administrative teachers have a higher awareness the parents’ power. 6. The teachers served the size of school below 12 classes have a higher awareness of parents’ power. 7. The more rights parent involved, the more power they will use. 8. The rights of parents involvement could forecast parents’ power in use. 9. Parents are expected to be a helper, but not to over intervene.
