Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 輔導與諮商研究所 === 93 === A study on the Solution-Focused Brief Counseling effect of parent- child interaction Shieh Shyr Abstract The main purpose of this study is to explore the effect of the solution-focused brief counseling on the improvement of parent- child interaction, the whole framework, basic hypothesis, and skills of counseling. It also explores how the counselor uses this method to help the clients to set up well-formed goals, find out good solutions, her own resources, strengths and the client's points of view. There are five clients in this study. It is a qualitative research focusing on the individual interviews and counseling treatments. The findings are as follows: 1. The counselor used the "presuppositional questions", "scaling questions", and "relationship questions" of "Goal framework" to help those who had troubles in parent - child interaction to set up well-formed goals. 2. The counselor used the theory of solution-focused brief counseling, such as the prepositional problem-solving framework, miracle questions and exception question, cheerleading and compliment of exceptions framework to help those who had troubles in child-parent interaction to find out the effective problem-solving methods. 3. The counselor used the whole framework and basic hypothesis of theory of solution-focused brief counseling to help the clients find out her own resources and strengths. 4. The solution-focused brief counseling had effectively improved the clients' "problem-solving" ability, emotion handling. The clients acquired more problem-solving methods and clearly knew "what they want to change." The counselor got more positive clients' point of view. Based on these results, discussions and recommendations were made for the future research and implications. Keywords: Solution-focused Brief Counseling, Adolescents, Parent-child Interaction
