What long-term competitive advantages the motorcycle industry creating main revenue of export trade and running neck and neck with others in powerful nations under a strange and changeful business operation, a new Cross-Strait state of the W.T.O covenant and a difficult period that a lot of manufacture shifted to China is an important topic. By Porter’s Diamond Theory and Five Forces Model, this study analyzes parameters of industry structure, business strategic and intra-competition of business deficient in literature for the intra-competition of motorcycle industry, and by in-depth interviews it analyzes industry structure, strategy and intra-business competition in main motorcycle manufacturing countries: China, India and Japan, and four dimensions: situation, position, S.W.O.T. and developments of future trend in global motorcycle manufacture. There are two results: automating manufacture, extending export market, globalizing administration, establishing marketing channels, improving operating efficiency and strengthening R&D are six directions for proprietors’ competitive advantages, and subsidizing R&D, researching key techniques, facilitating local motorcycle industry to be multinationals and encouraging the Cross-Strait industry to work together are four directions for government’s competitive advantages.
