It guides the teacher to design an item which is composed of several concepts. The goal of this system is to reduce the average amount of items-taking for each student. And help the teacher to easily get the diagnostic report of the students’ learning situation of concepts after test. In this research, we can prove the method of constructing an item with concepts combination can actually improve testing efficiency. So the students don’t have to perform a long testing, but their misconceptions can be diagnosticed. This system bases on concepts combination, greedy algorithm for set covering problem, probability and conditional probability to construct the analysis of diagnostic testing. It will evaluate the efficiency of concepts combination, and give the teacher the best suggestion of question-setting. And guide the teacher to construct an efficiency diagnostic testing step by step. At the end ,the system will calculate the expected value and average improvement ratio of items-taking for each student
