The participants of this study included one bulimic woman and one anorexic woman. Narrative inquiry and plot-story distinction analytic methods were used for this study. Results of the study are in the following : 1. A woman struggling with bulimia nervosa internalized problematically “ fat” and “ negative” stories. 2. A woman struggling with anorexia nervosa internalized problematically “ ignoring” and “anorexic” stories. 3. Using narrative therapy as a treatment deconstructed problematic stories of bulimic woman about parents’ divorce and homosexual contextual influences. 4. Using narrative therapy as a treatment deconstructed problematic stories of anorexic woman about anorexia, ignoring and contextual influences. 5. A woman struggling with bulimia nervosa re-authorized a “positive” life. 6. A woman struggling with anorexic nervosa re-authorized a “solicitude” life. The conclusion argued that narrative therapy as a treatment with bulimic women and anorexic women is effective. The suggestions for future studies were also discussed.
