Summary:博士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 工業教育學系 === 93 === Abstract This research was aimed to explore the correlations among school-based decision making (SBDM), transformational leadership and school effectiveness for senior and vocational high schools. After literature review and consulting with 20 principals and 8 scholars to identify the factors of the SBDM, transformational leadership and school effectiveness, the questionnaire was developed for pilot test. By way of item and factor analysis, the revised questionnaire was conducted for survey. Subjects were 800 teachers in 90 schools, The statistic procedures included the means, standard deviation and one-way ANOVA, MONOVA, Besides, Pearson correlation, canonical correlation, & multivariate linear regression analysis were applied in the research to comprehend interrelations as well as predictions among the three aspects of SBDM, transformational leadership and school effectiveness. Then constructing an integrated model with path analysis, finally examining it with LISREL. The main findings can be shown as follows: Totally, the SBDM, transformational leadership and school effectiveness were fairly good. There are significant differences between different independent variables for SBDM, transformational leadership and school effectiveness. The SBDM, transformational leadership and school effectiveness were significantly correlated between any two of them. School effectiveness can be strongly predicted by Both SBDM and transformational leadership. There are 7 paths significantly influence on the school effectiveness. The integrated model for SBDM, transformational leadership and school effectiveness build by this research is fairly good. Based on the findings, several conclusions and recommendations were made for governmental authorities, principals of elementary schools, schools and further researchers.
