Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣師範大學 === 圖文傳播學系 === 93 === Pad printing belongs to special printing with a wide range of printing substrates, having niche especially in printing small area and uneven surfaces. The photopolymer is one kind of non-silver sensitization material, it polymerizes by absorbing light to have high plating-making speed with few environmental pollution. By versatile printing substrates, pad printing needs to control exactly the relief depth of printing plate to have ideal ink thickness transferred. With still no having standard procedures to keep the plate relief depth control stable, the only way is by operator’s own experience, that is the purpose of this study to form a method to control the plate depth by analyzing the relevant factors through experiment. This study used two factors 4×5 experimental design, one factor for screen lines, the other for pre-exposure time, to have 20 different experimental combinations. By processing the 20 experimental combinations randomly to have 45 samples each, there are 900 samples obtained finally. Through discussion and statistical analyzing, the study’s conclusions are as follow; 1. The photopolymer plate gets wide range of relief cell depths between 14 to 77μm in experiment, is suitable for most pad printing procedures in the market, 2. The relief depth of photopolymer plate have an inverse reaction with screen lines, also with pre-exposure time, it means the plate making operator can add the amount of screen lines and pre-exposure time to decrease the relief depths of photopolymer plate. 3. There are interactive reactions between two experimental factors for the relief depth control. As the increase of pre-exposure time, the effects of adding the amount of screen lines to reduce the relief depths of plate are diminishing, especially when adding the pre-exposure time to 6 or 8 seconds, the endeavors to decrease the plate depth have almost no effects; Moreover, as the increase of screen lines, the effects of adding the amount of pre-exposure time to reduce the relief depths of plate are also diminishing.
