碩士 === 國立台北師範學院 === 體育學系碩士班 === 93 === ABSTRACT The purposes of this study were to understand the university students’ need and satisfaction of teacher in the korfball class in Taiwan. The study compared the differences among those students’ demographic variables on their class needs and satisfaction of teachers in the korfball classes. In addition, this study tried to probe the relationship between students’ class needs and satisfaction of teachers at the university korfball classes. The study’s subjects were 169 students at the university korfball classes in Taiwan. The questionnaire tiled ‘‘ Students’ Need Scale’’ and ‘‘Satisfaction of Teacher’s Teaching Scale’’ were used as research survey instrument. According to the data from the questionnaires, mean values, standardized scores, t-Test, One-way ANOVA, Pearson’s Product-moment Correlation and Multiple Stepwise Regression were applied for data analysis. The result showed that: 1. Students at the korfball classes were not satisfied with their classes’ needs variously, but satisfied with the teachers’ teaching. 2. Significant differences in the classes’ needs and satisfaction of teacher were found for the different background university students. As a whole, those who major in the physical education, male had higher consciousness for class need；for who were not PE. major, female, freshman at university, with basketball experience or without any experience in any sports had higher satisfaction of teachers’ teaching. 3. There was a higher correlation and a canonical correlation between the class needs and satisfaction of teacher at the university korfball classes’ students. 4. The students’ satisfaction at the korfball class could be predicted effectively by their class needs and satisfaction of teacher (relationship between teacher and student ; relaxation and achievement ; health and leisure ; teacher’s attitude ; teaching ability；the need of social and ability ). Especially both the needs of social and ability, and the need of health and leisure had powerful predictability. 5. Significant differences in whole satisfaction scale were found for the different background university students. As a whole, those who were not p. e. major, freshman in university had higher intention in promoting korfball and keeping the interest.
