碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 社會工作學系 === 93 === The motive of this research is to realize the process of seeking career of new female emigrants who immigrated to Taiwan by marriage. Date were gathered through qualitative research approaches. The method of this research is interviewing eight female emigrants . The goals of this research are to know the emigrants’ thoughts of jobs and to find out the process of their seeking for jobs. Furthermore, we want to know these emigrants’ status in the work and what the effect would be for them from the jobs. The female emigrants’ would face 4 steps in having a career and they are: 1).The preparation for work: Put down the kitchen shovel and earn for living. 2).Seeking a Job: Easy to know , hard to act. 3).In the work: Compromise with reality. 4).Expecting the future: My future is not a dream
