Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 教育研究所 === 93 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the teachers’ belief and teaching behavior for teachers of elementary schools in Taitung County, and wether there is a consistency relationship between them. The samples of this study were 355 eligible homeroom teachers in the class of elementary school in Taitung County. The data was analyzed by Pearson product-moment correlation, t test, and oneway ANOVA.
Results of this study were summarized as follows:
(1) The relastionship between teachers’ belief and teaching behavior for teachers in Taitung County elementary school has no consistency.
(2) The teaching behavior form teachers self evaluation and from observing other teachers has no consistency.
(3) As a whole, the teachers’ for the teachers in the elementary school in Taitung County trends to be a traditional trend.
(4) As a whole, the teaching behavior for the teachers in the elementary school in Taitung County trnds to be a traditional trend.
(5) As a whole, the teaching behavior from observing other teachers in the elementary school in Taitung County tends to be an open trend.
(6) Different teachers’ variables of background(eg:gender; age;; teacher education and work area)will result in difference of teachers’ belief and teaching behavior for the teachers in the elementary school in Taitung County.
(7) Different teaching service in the past will result in diffience of teachers’ belief for the teachers in the elementary school in Taitung County.
(8) Different school extent will result in diffience of teaching behavior for the teachers in the elementary school in Taitung County.
