Design the different miscibility of styrene (ST)/unsaturated polyester (UP) resin/CSR(core-shell rubber) ternary systems. Use Debye’s equation and the group contribution method to calculate unsaturated polyester (UP) and core-shell rubber (CSR) of dipole moments, and explain the result of miscibility of styrene (ST)/unsaturated polyester (UP) resin/core-shell rubber (CSR) ternary systems at room temperature(25℃) and 110℃ prior to reaction. This paper investigated to effect of different component of the core-shell rubber on the cured sample morphology by using scanning electron microscopy (SEM).
