Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 電子工程系 === 93 === Ad hoc wireless network is a brand-new wireless network structure. Through multiple hops forward mechanism the mobile hosts in ad hoc wireless networks can transmit data to destination without via base stations or access points. Because of node mobility, the network topology maybe change frequently. Thus, routing protocols play an important role in ad hoc wireless networks. AODV-BR, which is based on ad hoc on-demand distance vector (AODV) routing protocol, provides one-hop alternate paths for link recovery. However, one-hop alternate paths may be broken due to node mobility. Our scheme provides two-hops alternate paths to increase success probability of link recovery. Our approach can improve the performance and is effective for maintaining the network connection.
