This study employs the commercial electronic cooling package-Icepak to setup an analysis model for a small commercial power converter. The flow and temperature fields are determined and studied computationally. The surface temperature at several critical ectronic components obtained numerically are compared with values measured experimentally. It is shown that the computational model can give satisfactory results.
