The research take canvas as research direction. According to investigations, the principal cause which the canvas is cracked is ultraviolet (UV) rays in display. The aim of this study is to analyze the physical changes, colour and surface strength of canvas that illuminated with ultraviolet ray lamp to simulate long-term conservation. Four samples we used are: traditional encollage and traditional preparations, traditional encollage and chemical preparations, chemical encollage and traditional preparations, chemical encollage and chemical preparations. The result showed that takes chemistry preparations has the smallest aberration, strength degradation and skin won’t chap.
