Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 技術及職業教育研究所 === 93 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships among principal's leadership (transformational leadership, transactional leadership and non-transactional leadership), organizational climate, and teachers' job satisfactions in comprehensive high schools. It was conducted through questionnaire surveys. The sample consisted of 400 teachers from 20 comprehensive high schools in the six counties of northern Taiwan. The statistical techniques were t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's product-moment correlation, and stepwise multiple regression. The major findings of this study were as follows: 1. There is no significant difference found on behavioral perceptions upon “ principal's leadership ” of teachers with different backgrounds in gender, years of service, teaching departments and the education level. However, differences of those teachers' perceptions can be found among different age groups and types of schools. 2. There is no significant difference found on behavioral perceptions upon “organizational climate” of teachers with different backgrounds in gender, years of service, teaching departments and the education level. However, differences of those teachers' perceptions can be found among different age groups and types of schools. 3. There is no significant difference found on behavioral perceptions upon “job satisfactions” of teachers with different backgrounds in age and the education level. However, differences of those teachers' perceptions can be found among gender , different years of service , teaching departments and types of schools level. 4. The study contained an analysis of the relationships among principal's leadership, organizational climate , and teachers' job satisfactions. Significant relationships between any of those three variables were found. 5. Both principal's leadership and organizational climate have predicative ability to teachers' job satisfactions. Finally, suggestions based on the findings above were made to provide references for further studies by educational administrative organizations, comprehensive high school principals and future researchers.
