Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 中國文學系 === 93 === In the past, due to the bias that neo-confucianists look up to rationality and look down on sensibility at the same time, the study of “tzu” usually excludes their works, without considering the relationship between neo-confucianism and “tzu.” Indeed Sung dynasty neo-confucianists disdained “Hsiao-dao” tsu, however, because many men of letters wrote this kind of poems, the style and content of “yen-k’e”, “hsiao-ch’ang” became more elegant and made it more popular among neo-confucianists. There are some Sung dynasty neo-confucianists who left tzu theories or works, and their works are worthy of study. The author will study tzu theories and works of these neo-confucianists, hope to give them new understanding and identity. The thesis are divided into seven chapters: Chapter 1: “Introduction” Chapter 2: “The background of Sung dynasty neo-confucianists’ works” Chapter 3: “The theories of Sung neo-confucianists and their influence toward Sung tzu” Chapter 4: “The biography of the Important Sung neo-confucianists ” Chapter 5: “Content of the works of Sung neo-confucianists” Chapter 6: ”Characteristics and influence of the works of Sung neo-confucianists” Chapter 7: “Conclusion”
