The events in the narrative will explain the recovery of the patients, and the research will analyze the interpretation of the definition of the meaning of the patients’ recovery. It uses hermeneutics and inter-subjectivity to interpret the experience of the recovery process and its meaning. Through the presentation of the process, it will focus on the relationships among the subject's illness, self, body, and living environment, in order to realize the “recovery” viewpoint in the context of the patients’ recovery stories and construct its background. This research takes on qualitative research. It uses the concepts of narrative theories. On the first stage, the research uses narrative analysis to integrate patients experience into complete life stories. On the second stage, it applies narrative analysis to analyze and discuss the recovery stories of the patients. The plots are completely based on the patients’ “self-controlling” tones: the process of individual merging into society and then experiencing illness and recovery, and also the cycle of fighting against powerless feeling and searching for power. Finally there is the conversation between the researchers and professional paradigms. It is the conversation from “psycho-therapy expert paradigms” to the psycho-patients based “caring knowledge and life discourse paradigm”, and then going back to inner self conversation.
