Description
Summary:碩士 === 東吳大學 === 社會學系 === 93 === The purpose of this study is to discuss the status and difference of leisure constraints and participation of military police soldiers. And the correlation between leisure constraints and participation is studied too. We use test paper and the volunteer military police soldiers are the research targets. The sampling is based on proportion to distribute and purposive sampling. We issued totally 375 test papers with 19 invalid ones and 356 valid ones. The successfully recover rate is 94.93%. The analysis methods include descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, correlation analysis, Scheffe’s method, and ch-square test. The results are as following: leisure constraints 1. The factors of leisure constraints (1) The leisure constraints of military police soldiers can be divided into structural constraint, interpersonal constraint, and intrapersonal constraint. (2) The most intense leisure constraints are working pressure, lack of leisure time, duty misgiving, and lack of participation chance. 2. The status of leisure participation (1) The type of participated leisure activities are mass media, sports activities, outdoor activities, social activities, hobbies activities, and cultural activities. (2) The activities that military police soldiers actually participate in are watching TV, watching video tape and disc, listening radio and music, and reading book and news paper. 3. The different factors in leisure constraints of military police soldiers include sex, age, marriage status, living status, education level, advanced education level, working place, organization level, and disposable income. 4. The comparison of difference of personal characteristic and leisure activities (1) The factors of having apparent variety in leisure participation type include sex, marriage status, advanced education level, working duty, working unit, working place, organization level, organization character, and seniority. (2) The factors of having apparent variety in leisure participation frequency include sex, age, marriage status, spouse career, minimum age of children, advanced education level, official rank, working duty, working unit, organization character, seniority, disposable time, and disposable income. (3) The factors of having apparent variety in leisure participation cost include age, minimum age of children, education level, advanced education level, official rank, working duty, working unit, organization character, seniority, disposable time, and disposable income. 5. Military police soldiers’ leisure constraints has negative relationship to the type of leisure participation, frequency of leisure and cost of leisure. According to the study results, we propose some suggestions to military police soldiers and the following researches. We hope that the leisure constraints can be reduced and the participation frequency and type of leisure can be increased to enrich military police soldiers’ leisure life.
