Summary: | 碩士 === 東吳大學 === 政治學系 === 93 === In nowadays, since the national boundaries have been disminished significantly, there are many things should be analyzed from a global rather than national aspect, and the immigration polices of people movement is one of the cases. The immigration policy should be no longer treated as a simple, general domestic policy; rather, it is a policy that has impacts in almost every dimensions of the society, such as economics and security. Therefore, the main focuses of this thesis are the groups of immigrations and immigrants in three European countries, U.K, France, and German.
By analyzing their policies in five fields: how to get the work permit, the plan of high technology immigration, the right of permanent residence, family reunion and the regulations of citizenship application, we concluded that the differences between their policies could be best explained as a result of the interactions of different domestic political factors and national interests. At last, in this thesis we can also anticipate the development of such policies in the future years by such analysis.
