It is a pity that we heard some examples of failure KM system introductions. The reason is that companies always focus on the implementation of information technology but neglect of adoption of strategies application and establishment of procedures implementation. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to develop an application model of knowledge management system introduction from related theory and documents, and then uses case study method to proceed a verification study of how to introducing a more time efficient and cost-saving knowledge management system. This study uses one of the leading design companies in Taiwan as a case study to analyze its strategy and procedure of knowledge management information system by adopting the theoretical model. The beginning results show that the company did benefit from various index results by adopting the efficient introduction process. The result of this research presents a reference model of knowledge management in the process of ERP introduction. Enterprises can take it as a sample to the application of knowledge management system implementation.
