碩士 === 世新大學 === 財務金融學研究所(含碩專班) === 93 === Taiwan's market of trust business began with 1970, along with the liberalization of Trust and Investment corporations. Up to now, there are 43 Trust companies, issuing 346 mutual funds both in national and international markets; the market size has amounted to 260 billions NT dollars. Comparing with the same period last year, this year has grown 21.8% and the amount of investors is at least 2 millions. As of the securities business, its growth is counted by 10th multiple and amounts to 58.7 billions. Therefore, the Trust market of Taiwan looks like energetic water constrained by a limited container-like Trust institution. It pours in the future although it was guided now. Thus, the institutional container has to adjust its construction. The products of Trust market has grown at a surprising rate, and the institutional constraints still play the functioning role regardless of using the formal or informal constraints. This thesis applies the transaction cost methodology to study the behavioral foundation of this institutional setting. Using data analysis, we explicate this issue. We have two objectives: First, Analyzing the practices using transaction cost structure. Secondly, Exploring the interactions between institutions and market.
