Summary:碩士 === 世新大學 === 傳播研究所(含博士班) === 93 === As the Internet rises, its larger capacity to handle more information, convenient searching system and instant interactive function has already resulted in the biggest threat for print media. This study takes non-profit ‘St-pioneer’ as an example to explore whether or not the electronic broadcasting system will replace or complement the traditional magazine. If it does replace, how is it to be done? And how does the complement go? Will the readers change their use habits and the satisfactory level, in these different communicating forms? This study adopts the questionnaire to survey those who both use St-pioneer magazines and electronic newspapers. This study unveils the print and electronic media takes the leading edges respectively. Whereas the print media is easily portable and convenience to read, the electronic media’s data banks, friendly links featured with interactive function are more and more attentive to the users. The print and electronic media are supposed to be mutually complementary, as long as each is properly defined, and is able to exploit its own media features.
