Because of development of the supply chain management , the product life cycle shortens. Many enterprises are promoting the competition ability and reducing the cost by outsourcing the parts of their operation process. With the aid of the third-party logistics , completes the consignation of the product in faster way within supply chain. However the degree of implementation can promote the whole supply chain performance is still not clear. In this study , it clarifies the role of the third-party logistics in supply chain management and explore its impact on the logistics performance of shippers and consignees by the property of the logistics information system. This study found that: (1)The property of the logistics information system were positively affects the third-party logistics performance. (2)The third-party logistics performance (including asset, cost, productivity, logistics quality, customer service) were positively affects the logistics performance of shippers. (3)The third-party logistics performance (including logistics quality, customer service) were positively affects the logistics performance of consignees. This study obtains some valuable directions for the follow-up researcher and enterprise’s logistics practice: (1)Future researcher: That can aim at the 3PL and shippers and consignees to measure at the same time, and that can through the degree of the information system establishment to measure logistics performance. (2)Enterprise’s logistics practice: The logistics enterprise must build the more perfect information system, that can promote the operation performance of inter-enterprise, and promote the service of shippers and consignees.
