Description
Summary:碩士 === 樹德科技大學 === 幼兒保育學系 === 93 === Currently, since the reformation of nine-year consistent education has not extended to kindergarten, and the emphasis in open education of preschool organizations, it brings big challenge for kindergarten teachers in connective course planning for the children who are in last year of kindergartens and will enter primary schools. Therefore, how to help children have efficient learning and arouse their potential energy will be am important issue for kindergarten teachers. Furthermore, the scientists in neuroscience also emphasize that children should have fine learning, and the key points are a sound brain. Abundant experiences and environments are a necessary linkage to help cerebrum mature and develop. Therefore, the purposes of this study are: 1. To examine the performance of children’s brain waves and attention through the meditation involvement program used by kindergartens; 2. Under natural environment, to evaluate the effect for children’s neurophysiology by degree of open education executed by class. In this essay, it includes 2 parts of experiment. The tools of study include physiology feedback instrument, as well as Test for Attentional Performance (TAP). The objects of study are children in the last year of kindergartens. In the experiment I, it takes class as a unit. The experimented group and compared group are pre-examined before the experiment, and after-examined in week 4 and 8. After the experiment, it holds a lasting effect examination in the week 8. During the experiment, it executes 8-week meditation involvement program in the experimented group. In the experience II, with the open class observation table the objects of study are selected 2 classes from higher and lower degree of open education, respectively. It holds pre-examination in the beginning of the semester, after-examination in week 4 and 8, and in-work examination in week 9. The experimental result in the first part of this essay shows: The meditation involvement program can enhance the brain waves a and q of children in pre-school age, but it restrain the brain wave b. It also has a positive effect in performance of attention. However, there is not remarkable difference in reaction of skin resistance. The meditation involvement program has lasting effect in enhancing children’s brain waves a and q, as well as the performance of attention, and the longer the meditation involvement is, the better effect is. The experimental result in the second part of this essay shows: Under natural environment, for those children passing through 4 or 8 weeks, the different degree of open education has not remarkable difference in their performance of neurophysiology and attention. However, under reading situation, the performance of brain wave a for the children in the class with higher degree of open education is remarkable better than those who in the class with lower degree of open education. Besides, no matter the open degree in class, work involvement will enhance children’s brain waves b and q, as well as reaction of skin resistance. Inferring by the result of this study, the meditation involvement program in long term has remarkable effect in steadying children’s spirits and enhancing their attention. Besides, inferring by the result of second part, it can see under natural environment children’s development of neurophysiology is slow. When children in those 2 class face new works, their alertness and attention are all expressed. Comparatively, however, when the children in higher degree of open class face reading activities with bigger imaginative space, their performances of spirits are slower. It seems to show that the children in this class have nimbler thinking. Therefore, this essay would like suggest kindergarten teachers to arrange linking activities between courses by providing appropriate methods – such as the meditation involvement program, also arrange activities and works elastically, and give children a space to think and imagine, and abundant stimulation. It must be useful for children’s further learning and enhance stable spirits and learning ability which link to primary schools.
