This study conducted questionnaires of 637 college students in southern Taiwan. The questionnaire consisted of four sections: the Personal Background Survey, the Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire, the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, and the Sexual Satisfaction Inventory. Statistical analysis using in the study included descriptive statistical, t-test, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression.The major findings of this study are as follows: (1) In body image aspect, the level of appearance evaluation, appearance orientation and body areas satisfaction are between middle and high of college students in southern Taiwan but a low satisfaction in undressing and body weight. (2)The level of self-esteem is between middle and high of college students in southern Taiwan. (3) In sexual satisfaction aspect, the level of shallow sexual satisfaction and deep sexual satisfaction are between middle and high of college students in southern Taiwan but a low satisfaction in undressing in front of partner. (4)Appearance evaluation and body areas satisfaction of male were significantly higher than female, appearance orientation of female was significantly higher than male and there was no significant difference between male and female on self-esteem and sexual satisfaction of male was significantly higher than female. (5) The positive relationships were found significantly in college students of southern Taiwan between body image and self-esteem, body image and sexual satisfaction and self-esteem and sexual satisfaction. (6)Gender, body image, and self-esteem were the main predictors for sexual satisfaction in college students of southern Taiwan. Sincerely hope that this study can provide the consolers teaching in colleges some ideas to know students’ body image, self-esteem, and sexual satisfaction and then to work out students’ sex problems in the future.
