That how to take Taiwanese banking companies’ advantages of resources and to select the effective strategies for their perfect performance in competition is the main purpose of this research. Questionnaires were collected from Taiwanese bankers worked in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Mainland China. Analyzing data, realizing what are the strategic resources possessed by Taiwanese banking companies. Under the interaction of strategic resources and the adjustment of cultural difference, studying finds out the optimal strategic choices of entry timing, entry mode, marketing position and target market for business operation in China. According to this research conclusions, suggestion as follows, 1、Taiwanese banking companies should be prudent at entry into China under the adjustment of cultural difference between both sides of the Taiwan Strait. Strategy either entry at anytime or learning by watching from others’ performance had better be taken into consideration. 2、Possessed capabilities of business planning, human resource, research and innovation tend to choice the coorperative strategy of holding shares. 3、With capabilities of marketing, human resource, operating process and social capital tend to act as a market nicher. 4、Possessed capabilities of business planning, finance, human resource, research and innovation under the adjustment of cultural difference tend to serve the segmental market aiming at remittance for enterprises and individuals between the Strait and financial transactions for Taiwanese enterprises located in China. 5、Outside environment, inside resources, business goal and strategy with dynamic interaction form a strategic triangle. While changing among contents of the strategic triangle, strategies should be adjusted to fit in with the new surroundings.
